Self-portrait in charcoal, gray pastels, and graphite pencil.
I am pleased with how it turned out. It was quicker than graphite pencil alone to use the charcoal for the darks and pastel for the background. I blended the pastel with my fingertip and the charcoal with a Q-Tip.
